Have a Good Day

Hello, crafters and happy Monday!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!! Brenda here with a floral card featuring goodies from the Have A Good Day Release that could be used for so many occasions!! I LOVE how everything in this release can be combined to create stunning cards!!

I started the way I start most of my projects, by stamping the image, in this case the Birthday Bouquet Stamp Set, onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out using the Coordinating Die. You know that I LOVE to color, but if stencils are more your speed, there is a layering stencil available.

For the background, I die-cut the Alhambra Arabesque Cover Die from white cardstock and adhered it to an A2 white card base. The floral die-cut was adhered in the lower, left corner and the excess was trimmed off, then adhered to the top of the card. I saved all the pieces that were trimmed away and adhered them around the perimeter of the card.

The top layer of the sentiment from the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set was cut three times from heavyweight white cardstock and the bottom layer was cut once each from black and white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then added to the center of the card. I added detail to the centers of some of the flowers with a yellow gel pen and this card was finished.

That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful week!!

Brenda
