Hello, crafters!! Brenda back with you on the first work day of a new week!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I have a card to share today that combines the Butterfly Bliss Die Set with the Summer Flower Press Plate!!
I began by pressing the Summer Flower Press Plate onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with brown archival ink using a BetterPress System. I colored it with Copic markers and trimmed it slightly. The largest pierced rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set was used to die-cut an A2 panel of black cardstock. The floral panel was adhered with liquid glue.
Next, I die-cut the side image of the Butterfly Bliss Die Set from black cardstock. I traced the outline onto the back of a panel of gold glitter cardstock, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the back of the black butterfly die-cut. The body of the butterfly was adhered to the floral background with foam tape.
The sentiment, from the Essential Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set, was pressed onto black cardstock with matte gold foil using a BetterPress. It was cut out with the included die and popped up with foam tape. Lastly, I added dots to the center of the flower with a black gel pen and this card was finished.
That’s it for me today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Monday!!
