Happy Holidays – Merry Christmice

Happy Monday, crafty friends!! I hope you had a fantastic weekend!! Brenda here today with a holiday card featuring the darling Merry Christmice Stamp Set, along with the Magic Stars Die, from the newest holiday release!!

I started out by stamping the images from the Merry Christmice Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added stripes and polka dots to the shirt and scarf with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut panels of white and dark blue cardstock with the second largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. I die-cut the Magic Stars Die into the top the blue panel and hand trimmed the white one to create a snow bank. I backed the top part of the panel with holographic cardstock and adhered the snow bank to the front of it. That panel was then adhered to a panel of red cardstock that was trimmed slightly larger, then adhered to an A2 white card base. The die-cut images were all adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiments are also from the Merry Christmice Stamp Set. They were stamped onto white cardstock with red ink, cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered with liquid glue. I added some highlights to the images with a white gel pen and this card was finished.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me for a bit today!! I appreciate your time!!

Brenda
