Hello Crafty friends,
Sylvie @kaliscards here with a new card inspiration for the November challenge. The challenge invites you to create either a Christmas card or use a color palette with mainly greens and reds (very Christmas!). This time, I managed to combine both objectives, creating a Christmas wreath with the Floral Medley stamp set and its coordinating die set. I also added more foliage from the Christmas in July release.
To create the background panel, I dabbed Distress oxides Lost shadow and Pumice stone, making sure I left areas of white. I then repeated this step with Distress ink Stormy sky and let it dry.
I stamped the large Floral medley image twice, as well as the foliage from the Festive poinsettia set 6 times and colored the images with Copic markers.
To match the color palette challenge, I used Distress ink Stormy sky and Copic markers R89, R39, R46, R35, R22, R32, G29, G46, YG23 and YG11.
I then die cut them with the Floral medley die set and Festive poinsettia die set.
I then die cut the foliage from the Winter foliage and Jingle bell joy die sets, 2 to 3 times, from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut the two bows from the Pretty bows die set from white glitter and red glitter cardstock.
I then assembled the wreath with liquid adhesive, and adhered it to the background panel with 3D foam.
I then die cut the banner from the Christmas sentiments die set, from white cardstock, and stamped the Happy holidays sentiment from the Festive poinsettia stamp set, and adhered the banner to the card with 3D foam.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful crafty day!
