Hello, friends and happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend!! Brenda back with a Christmas card featuring a couple of die sets from the latest Christmas & Holiday Release combined with some older goodies…one of my favorite ways to create!!
I started by die-cutting the tree, star, tree trunk and garland from the Festive Tree & Wreath Die Set from cardstock in the Mystic Garden (tree) and Festive Fusion (trunk, star and garland) cardstock packs. The bows are from the Mini Ornaments Die Set. They were die-cut from glitter cardstock in the Festive Fusion cardstock pack. The tree, trunk, garland and star were adhered to the tree with liquid glue.
For the background, the Sparkly Flakes Cover Die and the frame in the Bow Ho Ho Frame Dies Set were die-cut from pink pearl cardstock from the Mystic Garden paper pack. The frame and tree were adhered with liquid glue.
The top layer of the sentiment, from the Festive Sentiments Die Set, was die-cut once from pink glitter cardstock in the Festive Fusion cardstock pack and twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The bottom layer was die-cut from the pink pearl cardstock in the Mystic Garden paper pack and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the tree, along with the bows.
That’s it!! Easy peasy!! I think this color combo is so fun for Christmas!! Do you like non-traditional colors for holiday cards?
