Happy and Quirky Rainbow Card

Hello everyone. Bobbi here sharing a very simple, but sweet and happy rainbow card. Sometimes you just need a little splash of color and a dash of love to help make a person know how special one is. This card does all of that for me. I’m using the following products by Alex Syberia Designs:

Quirky Rainbow Dies

Tiny Hearts Cover Plate Die

Nested Scalloped Frames Dies set

Spring Garden Stamp Set and coordinating dies

Whimsy Blooms Bouquet Dies set

To create this 5″ X 7″ card, I started with die cutting the rainbow elements using the Quirky Rainbow Dies. I attached them to white cardstock and hand cut the entire rainbow. I added two foam tabs to the back of the rainbow and added a coral die cut bow from the Whimsy Blooms Bouquet Dies set. I added a little red pearl to the center of the bow.

I die cut white cardstock using the Tiny Hearts Cover Plate Die and added a light aqua blue to the back of the die cut to show through. I die cut the piece using the scallop frame from the Nested Scalloped Frames Dies set. The scallops add a touch of whimsy and delight to this card. I attached the rainbow to the scalloped frame with the foam tabs.

The entire scalloped frame design was attached to an A7 white card base covered in a teal gingham pattern paper. I added a 1/8″ strip of white cardstock 1″ up from the bottom and attached the “wishing you a happy day” sentiment from the Spring Garden Stamp Set and coordinating dies.
