Grateful for You

Hello friends, welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs blog, this is Nicky with you today and I’m sharing a card that was made using the Grateful for You stamp set, the coordinating die set and the stencil too!  In the background I have used the Charming Flora Die,  read on for all the details.

I started with a white A2 panel of cardstock, I die cut it with the Charming Flora Die, I backed it with a panel of white craft foam and glued it to a white A6 card base.

I stamped the Grateful for You bloom image using Eiffel Tower paint by MFT.  I layered the Grateful for You stencil over the top of the image and using Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness together with Picked Raspberry and Saltwater Taffy for the blooms, I colour ink blended the image.

When I was done I splattered the image with white acrylic paint that was loosened with a little water.  I backed the image with dimensional foam tape and applied it to the card background.

To complete the card I used the same Eiffel Tower ink once more to stamp the circular ‘Thank You’ sentiment which is included with Grateful for You along stamp set along with several other sentiments.  I did this stamping in my Misti so that I could repeat stamp for the best appearance and I die cut and applied with more foam tape.

For the finishing touch I merely added some water droplet style embellishments in several sizes both on the blooms and on the background.

Many thanks for stopping by to read the blog today.  I hope you can find some crafting time of your own very soon.

Nicky
