Hey crafty friends! Are you looking for a super easy and gorgeous card to make? Well, grab your Watercolour Flowers Stamp Set and let’s make one together!
For this card, I have used Catherine Pooler’s Juniper Mist, Cove Blue, Tranquil, and Stone Blue, but you could use any colors that work together! They will overlap in some parts, so you need to make sure you’re not overlapping colors that won’t mix well.
I used my MISTI to stamp the flowers, but you could use an acrylic block (or many blocks with different flowers on each one!)
I started by stamping the darkest and biggest flower in the center of the card. It’s not completely centered, as you’ll notice, because that would look too intentional. I placed it a little to the right and down.
Next, I stamped the 2 large flowers directly above that flower. I overlapped one of them and spaced the other one. From here, I simply stamped all the rest of my flowers, going off of the edges where necessary. I didn’t overlap all the flowers, but you’ll notice that quite a few are.
Once I had them all stamped, I grabbed the outline stamps that are part of the same set. I used WOW! Midnight Sky Embossing Powder for this step, but you could use any embossing powder you have.
I only used the outline stamps on 5 of my flowers. I used a WOW! embossing pad, applied the embossing powder, and then used my heat tool to melt the powder.
Before you put away your embossing powder, let’s make a sentiment with it!
You can grab any word die that has a shadow behind the word. I used the Contemporary Hello Die. I pressed the shadow piece into the WOW! embossing pad directly, applied the embossing powder, and then used my heat tool to melt the powder.
I cut the word out with white cardstock and then glued the pieces together. I propped it up with 3D foam tape and adhered it to my card.
The last step is to cut your panel to 4″x5.25″ and then glue it to an A2 card base.
That’s all for me today friends! I hope you enjoyed making this card with me! Tag me in your card photo so I can see! @craftyandcreativevibes
See you next time! Xx, Amanda
