Floral Trimmings

Hey crafty friends! Lien here with another card and video tutorial.

I realized I hadn’t tried out the coordinating stencils for the Life Is Good stamp set so I just had to do that this week! I’m sharing some tips for coordinating stencils in the video below, so make sure to watch that one too. I started by stamping the image onto white cardstock and then colored the image with the Life Is Good stencils

For my background I used Distress Stain Sprays in the colors Mermaid Lagoon, Uncharted Mariner and Antiqued Bronze to add splatter right at the end. Before I started spraying, I masked off a margin on my card panel to act as a simple frame.

To add the floral image, I first cut it out with the Coordinating die and then trimmed it apart in three separate pieces. I propped them all up on foam tape and added them around the edges of my card.

For my sentiment I used the gorgeous Thanks die cut from gold glitter cardstock. I finished it off with a few blue gems and that’s it.

You can watch the video below for the entire process and tons of tips and tricks along the way.
