Kavya here from @handmadebykavya and I am super excited to be guest designing for the awesome Alex Syberia Designs! I love using cover plate dies and I jumped at the opportunity to use a few gorgeous SVGs for my next card!
I decided to combine Night Garden SVG with Abstract Pattern SVG. I wanted to use the pattern SVG to ‘color’ the gorgeous flowers in the Night Garden SVG. I had to manipulate the files a bit to achieve the look I wanted but It was definitely worth the effort! I cut the pattern files using white cardstock and used copper foil for the flowers. I decided to color the white cardstock using copic markers as it seemed easier than using colored paper. Then, I placed it on top of some green cardstock and added a sentiment to finish off my card!
That’s it folks! Wasn’t that simple? I absolutely love how this turned out and I hope this inspires you to try out the SVGs in other unique ways.
