Raquel here today sharing a colorful design I created with the gorgeous Create your own Happy Stamp set and coordinating dies
I absolutely adore this set. The little blooms are just perfect to create beautiful and one of a kind arrangements!
I started out my project by using the Fancy Background Stencil to create some texture on the background. I adhered the stencil to a 5 1/2 by 4 1/2 white inch note card and applied some white texture paste. While the paste was drying I stamped all my flowers and leaves.
I used Catherine Pooler’s inks: Tiara, Serenade and Bellini for the flowers and Lime Rickey and Martini for the leaves.
Once I die cut all of my images, I decided to add some extra shading to all the images using some Polychromos color pencils.
Once my background was dry, I arranged my flowers in groups of three and arranged them on the bottom and upper left side of the A2 card.
For the sentiment, I chose the Happy Birthday phrase from the set For You and stamp set in black for some contrast.
I also added some sparkling clear sequins and call this card done.
