Copic Coloring | PANSIES SLIMLINE Card Panel Digital Stamp

Hello everyone! Bonnie here from BONNIECAROLLEE MAKES CARDS !
If I want a show of pretty flowers in my early Spring garden, I reach for pansies. These beautiful flowers are tougher than you might expect and can withstand the cool and unpredictable weather in my northern climate. I love their sweet and colourful ’faces’ and was inspired by showy display in the gardens and planters in my neighbourhood to do up this sweet slimline featuring Alex Syberia Designs’ Slimline Pansies.

Slimline Pansies was printed on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb card stock and Copic coloured:
Red Pansies – R89, 85, 81,000

Blue Pansies – B16, 14, 12, 000

Yellow Pansies – Y18, 15, 11

Peach Pansies, R32, 30, 000

Leaves – YG97, 93, 91

The flower centers were detailed with the Copic black marker, 100, and yellow Y18.

The panel was fussy cut and spattered using Distress Stain, Tarnished Brass.
Matte gold and black card stock were cut with the largest die in Pinkfresh Studios’ Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles. The two scalloped frames in gold and the black inside panel were held together with scotch tape and adhered to a card base of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb card stock measuring 3 3/4” by 8 3/4”.

The pansy panel was mounted on a rectangle of black sheet foam and adhered to the card base. The happy birthday sentiment from Pinkfresh Studios’ Fancy Script Words was foiled on black card stock using Spellbinders’ Matte Gold Hot Foil. The sentiment and black sheet foam were die cut with the coordinating dies and stacked. The stamens were finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops English Mustard.
