Hi crafty friends! It’s Lien here with a clean and simple mini slimline card using two gorgeous new products from the February collection!
For this card I used the Spring Bunnies stamp set and stamped a few bunnies in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock. I added very minimal coloring to these, inspired by the back of the packaging. I used my Ohuhu markers to do this. I then put the paper back in my Misti and stamped it again with Versafine Onyx Black to add clear embossing to it.
I used the coordinating dies to cut these out and then worked on a simple background. I cut a separate piece of cardstock but you can work directly on your cardbase if you want. I masked off a strip using purple tape and blended on some green inks going from dark to light.
To add a little more interest to this background, I also used the Speckled Background stencil and the same inks to blend the little dots over the green strip. Once the ink was completely dry I added a sentiment from the Spring Bunnies stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black and embossed this with clear gloss embossing powder as well.
I adhered the panel to my cardbase and propped the bunnies up on some foam tape. I finished it up with a couple embellishments, et voilà!
