Today I wanted to show you another take on the gorgeous Petit Periwinkles Die set using bold colors:
I started my project using one of my favorite stencils, the Pureland Fan Stencil. I secured an A2 panel to the stencil using low tack tape and applied dark blue and light pink ink with blending brushes. Without removing the tape, I run my stenciled panel through my die cutting machine using the embossing mat and embossing plate. I love the dimension this process adds.
Next up I die cut the Petit Periwinkles using white cardstock for the flowers and Matt silver foil cardstock for the branch. I chose to add color to the flowers using Simon Hurley Lunar Paste in Midnight Snack and Game Over. I used my finger to apply it to the flowers, it was so quick and easy and it dried really fast.
Lastly, I silver heat embossed the sentiment from the set Happy Blooms.
