Well hello there, this is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a thank you card that was created using only stencils for what is basically a single layer card with the exception of the sentiment. This card was inspired by a view of pink blossoms from a window in my house.
To create this card I started with a white A2 panel of cardstock. Over this I layered the Postage Stamps Stencil and I used Sea Glass ink by The Stamp Market to ink blend a little blue sky in the corners.
Keeping the Postage Stamps Stencil in place, I then layered over the multi part Garden Of Blooms Stencils in numbered turn and I used The Stamp Market ink colours in Fresh Pink, Party Pink, Wild Berry, Citrine, Leafy, Greenery and Mossy. All stencils were removed and the panel was adhered to my already prepared card base.
To complete this semi CAS card I simply stamped the sentiment from the Expressing Gratitude Stamp Set and using the coordinating die I created a sentiment strip. I attached this with foam tape and then I resisted all temptation (and there was much) to add any further embellishments and kept this one clean and classic.
