I’m so excited to be participating in Alex Syberia Designs and Catherine Pooler Designs hop and Giveaway!
I absolutely love Catherine Pooler inks so when I heard this hop was happening I immediately thought about using the Modern Wave Layering Stencil.
To add some cuteness to the design, I’ve also used two sets: The Sparkle and Dance set and the Smile and Dance set.
I started my project by applying texture paste through the first layer of the stencil. Once it was dried I place the second layer and applied texture paste again. Once the paste was dry, I ink blended the panel using Sangria and Pink Champagne Catherine Pooler inks going in a gradient motion.
I decided to apply texture paste over the third layer of the stencil in a separate A2 white note card. To house the cute cat, I die cut a heart on the front and foam mounted it onto the third white layer of the stenciled background. Next I colored my image using copies and white heat embossed the YOU ROCK sentiment onto black cardstock. I stamped some hearts to add a little something onto the heart.
I have to used the die cut heart so I made a very clean and simple project:
I created another white texture paste background with the third layer of the stencil and foam mounted the heart on top. Once I colored this cute penguin and the mail box, I foam mounted them onto the heart and added my sentiment which is from the same set.
