A winter birthday card

Happy Thursday!

Christmas is almost upon us! I hope you have all your cards ready for your loved ones?

This card I share here is one I made with Raquel from @rachelrdesigns during an Instagram Live a couple of weeks ago. If you missed it, you can catch up with us here (it’s in Spanish!!).

I haven’t made any Christmas cards this year (I know, I know!!) but this one is a winter birthday card for a friend, and it was so much fun to make!

I do struggle with CAS cards, but Alex LOVES them so I went with her advice and ended up creating this!

I started off using the Fancy background stencil with some Textured Paste from Ranger. I really like how quick and easy this technique is, and it adds lots of texture while leaving a clean and white background. Winner!

Then I stamped the cute hedgehog from the Birthday Wonderland stamp set and used the coordinating die to cut him out. I then used my Ohuhu markers and some white gel pen for the highlights.

For the sentiment, I used the Birthday Wishes sentiment and coordinating dies.

Add some gems, and you are done! I will be definitely making some more CAS cards soon! Will you give them a go?

Crafty hugs,

Natalia
