A Watercolor Floral Hello!

Hello, fellow crafters! I’m sharing a greeting card that features new items from the Alex Syberia Designs, “You Are Loved” release available now to order here. This release is focused on mental health, self-care, friendship and positivity.  It’s filled with positive vibes and love. I’m using the following products:

Watercolour Flowers stamp set and coordinating dies

Contemporary Hello die set

This card measures 5″ X 7″ and is made from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.

To make this card, I stamped the flower’s solid fills using Ranger Distress Oxide Ink in Broken China and Antique Linen on the card front. Next, I stamped the outlines randomly on the front using Versafine ink pad in Onyx Black. I overlapped the lines over the fills.  This black ink is really dark and requires time to dry. I set the card front aside and worked on the “hello” die cut while the outline ink dried. For the sentiment, I cut the top “hello” layer from white cardstock and the shadow from black cardstock. I blended Broken China Distress Oxide ink on the bottom of the white cut. I glued the layers together.

I stamped the flower centers using the same black ink. I spattered black watercolor ink over the entire front panel and let it dry. I attached the “hello” at the top right corner to complete the card.
