A Peppermint Swirl Christmas Card

Hi everybody this is Nicky back with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a cheerful Peppermint Swirl inspired Christmas card using a variety of products from the store.  Read on for all the details.

I used the following products to make this design:-

Postage Stamps Cover Die

Postage Stamps Stencil

Sunrays Stencil

Jingle Bell Joy Die Set

Noel Die

Pretty Bows Die Set

I die cut white cardstock using the Postage Stamps Die, I layered over the coordinating stencil and then in turn, I layered over 3 of the 4 dies from the Sunrays Stencil Set and I ink blended using Saltwater Taffy, Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Inks.  This panel was backed with foam tape and applied to a white card base.

Using the Jingle Bell Joy Die Set, I die cut the bells, foliage and bows using different types of cardstock.  I ink blended the bells before forming little gathered bunches and glueing them together and then to the card’s background in two corners.  I also used the Pretty Bows Die set to create two red bows which I added at the end to make it look like the gathered bunch were tied together.

To complete the card I used the Noel Die to die cut white and red cardstock.  I glued the parts together, backed the sentiment with foam tape and adhered in the centre.  I highlighted a little on the two bells and then resisted all temptation to add any further embellishments and with that, this card was done!

Thank you for visiting the blog today, I do appreciate it.  See you next time!

Nicky
