Hello everyone, this is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog. I have a vividly coloured thank you card to share with you today using all Alex Syberia products. I always like to keep some thank you cards on hand to send out at short notice as life dictates.
To create this card I used the following products:-
Garden of Blooms Die
Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set
I chose a panel of Fuchsia cardstock to form the basis of my card. This panel was die cut using the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die and adhered to a sturdy card base.
I took some white cardstock and worked my way through the set of Garden of Blooms stencils until it was complete. The inks that I used were all Distress Oxides in Victorian Velvet, Picked Raspberry, Lumberjack Plaid, Fossilized Amber, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and last but not least, Rustic Wilderness.
I used the Garden of Blooms coordinating die (currently unavailable but this is an easy image to fussy cut) to die cut the stencil floral image, I backed it with dimensional foam tape and then applied it to the background.
Using the Thank You & Hello Die Set and white and gold cardstock, I die cut the sentiment and glued the parts together, backed it with foam tape and applied to the flowers.
The finishing touch was to just apply the 4 sparkling clear sequins for accents. Many thanks to you for stopping by to read about this project, happy crafting!
