A Birthday Card

Happy Wednesday everyone! This is Nicky with you today on the Alex Syberia Designs blog and I’m sharing a birthday card that I created using the following list of products:-

Holiday Wreath & Branch Stencil & Die Set

Celebrations Sentiments Hot Foil Plate

Cheerful Meadow Die Set

Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set

Build-a-Bow Christmas Tree Die Set (bow only)

I took an A2 white card base and glued a smaller grey panel of cardstock to it.  I then ink blended in Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink a white panel made using the Good Day die set and then was glued to the grey.

I used the Holiday Wreath & Branch Stencil to stencil/ink blend the pretty wreath.  I used inks by The Stamp Market in Gravel, Navy, Wild Berry and Powder Blue to colour it, then I die cut and applied the wreath to the ink blended background.

I die cut a bunny using the Cheerful Meadow die and I coloured it with Copic markers in C3, C1, C0, RV34, R83, R81, RV00, RV0000.  This was applied with foam tape to the middle of the wreath.

I chose a bow from the Build-a-Bow Christmas Diet Set and die cut.  I blended it with a little Navy ink reside from my blending brush and glued it to the bunny’s neck.

I had the sentiment already created because when you use the Celebrations Sentiment Hot Foil Plate you create many in one go which is incredibly handy.  I backed the strip with foam tape and applied it to the bottom of the card and with that, this card was complete.

Happy crafting and Happy New Year everyone!

Nicky
