Hello, crafty friends!
Today’s cards by our DT Cheryl are featuring our winter critter sets from the Kickstarter Campaign.
For his first card, Cheryl has used the Smile and Wave stamp set and has done some masking to create this one layer scene. She’s then coloured the cute penguins with alcohol markers and added some details with a white gel pen. Look at those gems for buttons! Love them.
Cheryl has made a wonderful sky using Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks. A must try combination for a winter sky, don’t you think?
She’s then splattered some white gouache onto it and look that snow effect!
For this second card, Cheryl has used the Birthday Wonderland stamp set and followed the same technique as with the penguins card above.
Two truly adorable winter scenes, very fitting with the weather in many places right now!
