Hello and welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs blog today. This is Nicky back with you all and I’m sharing a new floral card with a lot of dimension. Please read on for all the details.
To create this card I have used the following products:-
Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set
Charming Floral Background Stencil
I took a panel of white cardstock and I used the Charming Floral Background Stencil and Powder Blue, Cerulean, Citrine, Leafy and Greenery ink by The Stamp Market to create the pastel blooms. I then used the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set to create the decorative edge to the panel which I glued to my card base.
I took a second panel of white cardstock and I stamped the main floral image from Grateful For you using Versamark Ink and I heat embossed in white. I then came in with the Grateful For You Stencil and I used the same selection of inks with a very slightly heavier touch and ink blended the floral image.
I then laid the image over the edge of the background panel and determined where to cut which give me two pieces. I used extra thick dimensional foam tape to adhere each piece to the top and bottom of the card.
To finish things up I used the For You Sentiment Die. I die cut the white background piece and then the actual words were die cut from silver shimmer cardstock and I glued them to the background. This too was applied with the extra thick dimensional tape.
Last but not least I adhered several ‘Fairy Jewels’ by Open Studio.
I hope you like my card today, thanks for stopping by, I’ll be back next Saturday with something new to share.
Nicky
