Warm blankets, warm-toned colors, vibrant fall leaves… they all keep us warm in the fall, heading into the harsh, winter months. I wanted this card to share those warm vibe feelings. I’m using the following Alex Syberia Designs products for this floral card:
Grateful For You stamps and coordinating dies
Tiny Autumn Leaves Hot Foil Plate
My card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. Here’s the details…
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I chose all warm, soft colors from rose to maroon and earthy greens and ivory. I stamped and colored the Grateful For You stamps florals using Copic markers. I die cut them using the coordinating dies. I die cut the Autumn Leaves and blended inks in earthy reds and golds on them. I will tuck them behind the florals.
For the background, I used the Tiny Autumn Leaves Hot Foil Plate. Running it through my die cutting machine with a pink cardstock, I was able to capture the embossed image on my background paper. I added a fun little fringe edge on the left side and added a faux stitch to make it look like fabric or the fringe on the edge of a soft pink blanket. I attached the embossed background with fringe to a white card base and attached the floral bouquet on top. I tucked the colorful leaves behind the florals and glued them in place. I stamped and die cut the bloom sentiment using the Grateful For You stamps and coordinating dies. Finally, I added a few ballet slipper pink sequins around the florals to complete the look!
