Sylvie @kaliscards here with a shaker card project featuring the new Stay cozy set.
Stay cozy! It’s all in the sentiment. This is the main reason I love Fall and Winter as they are an invitation to stay cozy and allow yourself to preserve a comfy and warm bubble around you, sip a hot chocolate while reading a good book or in the case of this sweet girl, listening to music. I couldn’t help myself to turn this card into a shaker.
To create this card, I cut out two panels of the same size, slightly bigger than the Stay cozy image. On one panel, I used the coordinating die to create an opening for the shaker, taped acetate at the back and then added foam tape.
On the second panel, I stamped the Stay Cozy image through the opening of the first panel. This will be the shaker background. I also stamped the image a second time on a piece of cardstock and fussy cut the girl with scissors and a craft knife around the curls. I colored both images with Copic markers.
I then poured a sequin mix on the background panel, and adhered the front panel on top. I then trimmed the background edges and adhered the shaker onto the cardbase.
