Hello, crafters and Happy Labor Day to those of you in the US!! I hope you’re enjoying the long holiday weekend and happy Monday to everyone!! Brenda here with a fall inspired birthday card featuring the Birthday Bouquet Stamps, Layering Stencils and Birthday Bouquet Coordinating Dies!!
I started by die-cutting the floral from the Birthday Bouquet Coordinating Dies from smooth white cardstock. I stenciled the Birthday Bouquet Layering Stencils onto it using dye inks in an autumn color palette. Once the ink was totally dry, I stamped the Birthday Bouquet Stamps outline image with a black pigment ink.
For the background, I die-cut the Alhambra Arabesque Cover Die from white cardstock and layered it onto an A2 white card base. I die-cut a frame from orchid cardstock using two dies from the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set and adhered it to the background with liquid glue, along with the floral die-cut.
The sentiment is also from the Birthday Bouquet Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the embossed one, before adhering it to the front of the card. A few glitter sparkle gems finish off the card.
That does it for me today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Monday!!
