It’s a good day to have a good day

Hello Crafty friends,

Sylvie @kaliscards here.

Fall is my preferred season of all! For this new project, I mixed products from for the latest release with last year Fall release.

To create this card, I started by die cutting some leaves and a flower of the Andalusia wildflower die set from white cardstock, and ink blended them with Distress oxides Squeezed lemonade, Dried marigold, Spiced marmalade, Crackling campfire, Old paper, Twisted citron, Rustic wilderness and Vintage photo.

Next, I die cut the Postage stamps cover die from white cardstock and placed it on a grip mat in my stamping press. I then placed the coordinating stencil over the postage.

I then stamped the big cloud/bush stamp from the Giraffe-ic friends stamp set on one postage stamp and the big bear from the Collecting memories stamp set on another postage stamp. I also stamped the images on making paper and fussy cut them before masking the images. I stamped the cute fox over the bush and also masked it.

I then blended Distress oxides Crackling campfire, Spiced marmalade, Dried marigold and Squeezed lemonade from top to bottom. I then removed the stencil and masks. Next, I stamped the postage prices and marks from the Special delivery stamp set.

I also stamped the sentiment from the Self-care sentiment stamp set on a piece of white cardstock and used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

I colored the images with Copic markers and then cut the two postage stamps with scissors.

I then created the background panel. I cut a panel from white cardstock, slightly bigger than the largest rectangle die from the Nested scalloped frames die set. I then blended Distress oxides Squeezed lemonade, Dried marigold, Spiced marmalade and Crackling campfire through the Frosty lace stencil. I then removed the stencil and die cut the background panel with the Nested scalloped frames die. I then blended Distress inks Vintage photo and Walnut stain on the edges and insiting on the four angles.

I then adhered the background panel onto the cardbase with liquid adhesive.

I then arranged the postage stamps and leaves on my desk and once satisfied, I used a low tack adhesive sheet to pick them up and added foam tape at the back to hold them together. I then removed the back paper and adhered the composition on the background panel.

I also adhered the sentiment with foam tape and added golden bling to finish the card.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a wonderful day!

Sylvie
