Bouquet of Postage stamps

Hello Crafty friends,

Sylvie @kaliscards here.

I have more postage stamp inspirations for you with the Postage stamp cover die and coordinating stencil, which I combined with the Birthday bouquet stamp and coordinating stencil.

To create these cards, I started by die cutting the Postage stamp cover die twice from white cardstock.

I placed one of the postage panel onto a sticky mat in my stamping press and layered the Postage stamp stencil over it. I then stamped the floral with black ink. Next, I stenciled the Birthday bouquet over it with Distress oxides:

Stencil 1 – Middle pattern: Tumbled glass and Salty ocean for the top and bottom flowers, Squeezed lemonade and Mustard seed for the roses
Stencil 1 – Side patterns: Twisted citron for the top and bottom flowers, Squeezed lemonade and Mustard seed for the roses
Stencil 2 – Left pattern: Twisted citron and Mowed lawn for the leaves, Squeezed lemonade and Mustard seed for the rose
Stencil 2 – Right pattern: Mowed lawn for the leaves and Wild honey for the rose
Stencil 3 – Left pattern: Milled lavender for the top and bottom flowers, Sqeezed lemonade and Mustard seed for the rose
Stencil 3 – Middle pattern: Wilted violet for the top and bottom flowers, Wild honey for the rose
Stencil 3 – Right pattern: Squeezed lemonade and Mustard seed for the top stencil and Wild honey for the bottom one.

For the second card, I used the following colors:

Stencil 1 – Middle pattern: Dried marigold and Ripe Persimmon for the top and bottom flowers, Tattered rose and Kitsch flamingo for the roses
Stencil 1 – Side patterns: Twisted citron for the top and bottom flowers, Kitsch flamingo and Worn lipstick for the roses
Stencil 2 – Left pattern: Twisted citron and Mowed lawn for the leaves, Tattered rose and Kitsch flamingo for the rose
Stencil 2 – Right pattern: Mowed lawn for the leaves and Worn lipstick for the rose
Stencil 3 – Left pattern: Worn lipstick for the top and bottom flowers, Tattered rose and Kitsch flamingo for the rose
Stencil 3 – Middle pattern: Festive berries for the top and bottom flowers, Kitsch flamingo and Worn lipstick for the rose
Stencil 3 – Right pattern: Tattered rose and Kitsch flamingo for the top stencil and Kitsch flamingo and Worn lipstick for the bottom one.

Next, I added a sentiment on each postage stamp, from the Avian allure stamp set and stamped them with black ink. I also stamped the prices and postage marks from the Special delivery set.

To finish the cards, I adhered the front panels onto the cardbases with foam tape.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a wonderful day!

Sylvie
