Today, I am delighted to help Altenew celebrate their 6th Anniversary! A big and warm Happy Birthday to Altenew!

In light of these trying times, Altenew considered cancelling their celebrations. However, they want to use this blog hop to spread joy and encourage others to give back/be there for one another during these challenging times. Projects

Altenew’s fabulous products have been a favorite of mine for a long time and I’m so excited to share my projects with you today! I have two cards for you.

When I was deciding what Altenew product to use on my duo, I couldn’t resist grabbing their gorgeous Garden Picks 3D Die set! I was blown away by this set and by how easy it was to use it to make absolutely stunning cards. This time I challenged myself to use just one die from the set.

First, I die cut leaves from the Garden Picks 3D Die Set out of watercolor paper and vellum, and I used Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers to color them in. For my tall card I used the following colors: Turquoise, Lime, Paper Bag and Fresh Lemon.

And for the “Best Wishes” card I used Purple Wine watercolor marker. I then added Nuvo Glimmer Paste here and there for decoration.

For the “Congratulations” card I made a tall card base and added some ink blending. I used Altenew Aqualicious and Dew Drops inks. Once my ink blending was done, I glued the leaves die-cuts and added black paint splatters. I then added several black crystals onto the card and popped a sentiment (from Engagement Wishes Stamp Set) white embossed on black.

For the “Best Wishes” card I made a card panel using acrylic stamping technique. I used Altenew ink sprays in the following colors: Puffy Heart and Orange Cream. I added black paint splatters, as well. I then foam mounted the panel onto a white card base. I adhered the vellum leaves and the watercolored leaves onto the card, layering them to create some dimension.

I then added several black crystals. Lastly, I gold embossed on black a sentiment using stamps from the Wonderful Wycinanki Stamp Set and popped up it onto the card.
