Saturday Guest Designer | Hannelie Bester | Celebrating February Alex Syberia Design Digi Stamp Release

by Alex

Hello friends,

Welcome to my second Guest Designer post! We are celebrating new Alex Syberia Design Digital Stamp Release.

My next guest designer is the super talented Hannelie from Desert Diva! I am such a huge fan of her work! I love her clean looking cards with trendy designs and balanced layouts. You can also have a quick look at her Instagram feed.

Guest Designer – Hannelie Bester

I am so happy and blessed to work with Alex to showcase her amazing artwork! I use the Silhouette studio to work with all my digital images.

Card #1 – Clematis Stamp

I printed the image twice on my card base. I masked the two images and started to apply Distress oxide ink in Candied Apple to the background. When I was satisfied with the result, I used the Liquid-marble-stencil by Altenew and added a light touch of Festive Berries distress ink. I then removed the masks and adhered the sentiment.

The sentiment is from Apex Cuttable designs and it was cut with my Silhouette cameo. I created two shadows using the offset function. One using black card stock and another using vellum.

Card #2 – Adore You

I printed the image on the card base using watercolor paper. I used the print and cut function and cut out a heart shape . I then water colored the butterflies on the heart using my zig markers and popped the heart up using craft foam. I designed the sentiment in the Silhouette software and cut it out with my cameo. It is available on my blog as a free card sentiment  here !

Card #3 – Heart Lollipop

I used the print and cut function once more to cut out the image. I used Zig markers to color the heart and added touches of silver glitter for added interest.

I then popped the heart up on the card base using small foam dots and added the pear embellishments. This sentiment is also available on my blog as a free download here.

Thank you for stopping by!

Love them all Hannelie, but the blending on that first one is so amazing! I thought the background was a patterned paper when I saw the image on Instagram. You are so talented!

Hannelie, these are so beautiful! Your stenciled background is so smooth it looks like pattern paper. I adore your watercolor card! These definitely make me want a Silhouette or Scan n Cut!
