Release

There are lots of new fabulous products being released today, stamps, dies, stencils and all are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store!

Altenew Stamping Mat – NEW

Something new that I’m excited to share with you is the Stamping Mat.

The silicone grid mat is great for stamping, watercolor, ink blending, heat embossing, and everyday crafting! The mat features inches as well as metric measurements on the edges and a half inch grid. Due to the nature of the silicone surface, some grid lines have slight imperfections and are not completely straight. This will not affect the quality or functionality of the mat. Heat Resistant. SHOP HERE. I think it will be great for road trips 🙂

Projects

I always like to create many projects with different techniques and today I’m going to share 6 cards I made for this release.  Thank you to everyone who will be with me until the end of this post! I hope to inspire you and help with some of your wish-list decision today!

Pen Sketch Flowers Stamp Set | Die Set

Let’s start with the beautiful Pen Sketch Flowers Stamp Set and Pen Sketch Flowers Die Set.  The die set will be available for purchase on 8/8/2019!  I made three cards with this set. This time I decided to use no-line watercoloring for flowers.

I stamped images onto a watercolor paper using a very light ink. Then I did no line coloring using the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors. I die cut out the flowers and leaves using coordinating dies.

For my first card I decided to use violet flowers.

I blended Altenew Warm Sunshine Ink onto a white cardstock panel and stamped a sentiment from the Pen Sketch Flowers Stamp Set. After the card panel was done I arranged my flowers and leaves on it. To finish off my card I added my favorite Midnight Blue Crystals.

For the second card, I chose a kraft card base and rose flowers. I added some Studio Katia July Crystals.

The next card is a Clean & Simple card. I love how it turned out!

 

Charming Doodles Stamp Set

For my next card I used the Charming Doodles Stamp Set and new Altenew Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink. It’s an amazing ink, it gives good coverage along with decent and tasty shine. This is my first time using this ink. I’m in love!

First I made an ink blended gradient panel using (from top to bottom) Altenew Caribbeans Sky Ink, Persian Blue Ink and Sphire Ink onto a white cardstock panel. I then stamped images with the Altenew Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink. I stamped a sentiment from  Bright Blossom Stamp Set onto a white stripe and glued it onto the card. To finish off my card I added  September Crystals.

 

Bright Blossom Stamp Set | Die Set

For my next card I used very pretty Bright Blossom Stamp Set and Bright Blossom Die Set.

I stamped images with Altenew Mini Cubes: Summer Afternoon, Cherry Blossom, Cool Summer Night and Sea Shore. I then die cut out the flowers and leaves using coordinating dies. I glued all images onto the card base and stamped a sentiment. I added some Clear Round Drops.

Graphic Brushstrokes Stamp Set

My last card I made using Graphic Brushstrokes Stamp Set. I was inspired by one of my favorite arts – bright and colorful abstract paintings. I think I’ll make one more panel and will frame it. I really love how it looks. I think I’ll film a video. Let me know if you are interested in.

I started by messy coloring with my Kuretake Zig Art & Graphic Twin markers. I then added water splatters.

Once this panel was dry, I stamped the image from the Graphic Brushstrokes Stamp Set using Altenew Antique Gold Pigment Ink. This ink is just amazing! Love it so much!!!I then trimmed the panel, adhered to my card base and stamped a sentiment.
