Color! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams.
Hey, crafty friends! Happy to see you here! Today I have two cards for you featuring recently released Wallpaper Art Stamp Set from Altenew. Yes, this stamp set is my favorite from altenew’s previous release and I have more cards to share with you, so stay tuned!
To make my cards I used Emboss Resist technique. I still return to use it to time and time again as it produces such beautiful results. I created a card panel (using Altenew inks: Pinkalicious, Ocean Waves and Dusk) like I showed in my video (I filmed a video showing how to create a project from start to finish using emboss resist technique. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it. HERE you can find a blog post and video. Also, you can watch the video in HD on my YouTube channel.)
For my first card, I cut two squares from the finished card panel. I stamped a sentiment and then I foam mounted the squares onto a card base.
For the next card, I cut a rectangle from the finished card panel and split it into the two parts. I glued these parts onto a card base and stamped a sentiment between them.

Beautiful cards! I love all types of resist techniques; they never get old to me. I’m heading over to see your video.
Thanks for sharing these.
Cutting up your finished panels really makes lovely cards, Alex! Thanks for that reminder. And so pleased that you’re playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
Both cards are gorgeous, I love the colors and the style!! I really like the diagonal split on the second card, I will definitely be trying that 🙂
We should follow your example, Alex… this is a wonderful technique! One I don’t use often enough! What beautiful colors you’ve used… this set is definitely on my wish list! xx
