Hello everyone! Happy to see you here! When I got this ‘So Matcha’ stamp set, I immediately took it to my desk and made three cards. I absolutely adore these Kimono Girls and these kitties. Aren’t they cute?
My first card features many images from the ‘So Matcha’ stamp set. I started off by stamping the images on a panel of white cardstock. I used several masks to make these Japanese lanterns. I then carefully did a bit of ink blending and added water splatters. I used small floral images from the set to decorate the kimono and the fan. You can use them to decorate a teapot too! They fit perfectly! I then drew a pattern to decorate the other kimono and a belt. I colored all the images with Copic markers and added a sentiment.
My next two cards look alike but I used different techniques to make them.
The first card is a one layer simple card. I stamped the images and colored them with Kuretake Zig Art&Graphic Twin markers.
For the next card, I stamped the kitties and colored with Kuretake Zig Art&Graphic Twin markers. I fussy cut them. I stamped Japanese lanterns using clear inks and gold heat embossed on a panel of white cardstock. I colored my Japanese lanterns with the Rose Zig marker and then carefully did a bit of ink blending. I foam mounted the kitties on the card panel. I then stamped a sentiment and adhered the card panel onto the gray card base.
