Hello friends!
It’s been a while since I created my own background using stamps. I made two cards to share with you featuring gorgeous products from Altenew. I had so much fun making these winter cards.
Project
I started working on my projects by stamping several poinsettias and bows onto white cardstock panels. I used images from Altenew Holiday Bow Stamp Set. After my stamping was done I moved onto coloring the backgrounds. There are many different coloring mediums that can be used to color the background. I used Zig Art&Graphic Twin Markers.
You can use Copic markers or colored pencils as well. I colored the backgrounds around the images using deep green and orange markers. I decided to choose these colors, but remember there are always options to go with other colors.
After my coloring was done I heat embossed berries for a more attractive look. For the “poinsettias” card I heat-embossed a sentiment and mounted it over the base.
I stamped a sentiment using Altenew ink onto the card panel of “bows” card.
I adhered my stamped and colored panel onto black/deep blue cardstock and adhered an A2 side folding card base made out of white cardstock.
