Custom Background | Altenew

by alex

Hi, crafty friends! Today I have a fun and simple card to share with you. It’s been a while since I created my own background using small stamps and markers, and I had so much fun making this simple card. There are so many awesome techniques to create your own backgrounds!

I used images from Hibiscus bouquet stamp set by Altenew.

I started by stamping the images on a piece of A2 size white cardstock with Memento black ink. Then I colored my images with Copic Sketch Markers. For big leaves I used these colors: BG13, BG49 and Y11. For small leaves I used colors: BG13, BG49 and B02. For flowers I used colors: B05, B02, Y11.

After my background was done, I added tiny sequins.

I stamped sentiments on a piece of white cardstock. Then I cut out my sentiment into a thin banner. I glued glitter stripe and the sentiment’s stripe to the panel.

Then I mounted my panel on the white top folding card base using glue tape.

Thank you so much for visiting! Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!
