There is no blue without yellow and without orange…
I’ve got a lot of flower card ideas suitable for lots of different occasions. There are so many ways to add flowers to a card… For this project, I used a layering technique to build a beautiful look. Layering adds texture and depth to your card without requiring any special tools.
One of my favorite color combos is Blue and Yellow and I used these colors for my new project.
To create my card more attractive, I started to make a background. I thought about polka dot pattern.
I stamped an image on the card panel randomly using Ranger Archival Ink. Next, I stamped flowers and leaves on a piece of watercolor paper and watercolored them loosely using Zig markers and distress inks.
I added bright accents with a pink color to the leaves, and then fussy cut the images out.
I then used my WRMK Crop a Dile Chomper to round the edges of the card panel and the card base. I adhered the panel to the card base using double-sided tape.
Next, I popped all the flowers and leaves with foam tape including the sentiment which I stamped and cut out.
To finish off my card, I added gold sequins and some accents with Wink of Stella brush pen.
I was really happy with how this card turned out! Hopefully, you enjoyed it too!
