I’m the ocean, I’m the sea, There is a World inside of me…
Hello crafty friends!
I guessed it’d be great to combine my all time favorite stamps and create a unique underwater scene.
To create sea-grasses I used “Hibiscus bouquet” set from Altenew and “S’whale” from Ellen Hutson. Firstly, I stamped a flower, leaves, sand, and sea-grasses. Then I created masks for the stamped images and ink blended my card panel using Altenew inks. After blending was done, I added a few water splatters and left this to dry a little while.
I then colored the flowers and leaves using my “drops” painting technique.
I stamped a cluster of fishes image several times to create a whole underwater scene. Next, I stamped, cut out and colored the whales with bright colors using ZIG “Art and Graphic Twin” markers. I got 2 images to choose from. So I decided to take the purple/blue one.
I used Wink of Stella brush pen to add some shimmer on the flower, perhaps you can’t see it very well in the photo. Then I popped up the whale with foam tape, and added Clear Round drops for fun bubbles to accent the scene!
I stamped the sentiment, die cut it and then glued it on the background panel.
I liked how it turned out!
