Dimensional floral card | Altenew

by Alex

Hello crafty friends!

Today I came up with the idea of creating a dimensional floral card. I love layering technique so much! It adds depth and texture to your card. Also, layering helps direct the eye towards the focal point of your card.

I started by stamping flowers and leaves onto a piece of watercolor paper using Distress inks. I then watercolored all images with Zig markers and Distress inks.

I fussy cut my flowers and leaves. Before adhering the images to my card panel, I added black splatters to the panel.

I then adhered the flowers and leaves on the panel using 3m foam tape to add dimension! The sentiment from Altenew worked perfectly to finish off the design!

To finish off my card, I added some sequins.

I hope you were inspired by this card!
