How to create clean and aimple (CAS) cards | Ellen Hutson

by Alex

I’ve got two cards to share today using my favorite Essentials by Ellen stamp set “S’Whale” . The whales are so cute! I adore them!

“Clean and Simple” is a style I love but this style is not simple as it first looks.
CAS style requires a lot of “white space” and well-designed layout.

To make these cards, I masked off a square in the middle of the cards panel and blended using Altenew inks. On the first card panel, I stamped a sentiment and a cluster of fishes image and for the second panel, I stamped a sentiment and waves.

Next I stamped, cut out and colored the whales with bright colors using ZIG “Art and Graphic Twin” markers.
Then I popped up the whales with foam tape, and added some sequins.
