A simple CAS card for beginners in 5 steps | Ellen Hutson

by Alex

Hey, crafty people! Happy to see you here!

Today I want to share a quick and simple one layer CAS card using my favorite S’Whale stamp set by Ellen Hutson. I believe beginners will be able to repeat it.

I decided to start with coloring an image.
I used my ZIG Kuretake ART&Graphic Twin markers. First of all, I put one layer of color ( I mixed Cobalt blue and Turquoise green) and while it was wet I dropped on my favorite Pink color.

I then stamped a cluster of fishes using Altenew inks: Lagoon and Soft Lilac.
Next, I cut out the whale and popped it up with foam tape. After that, I stamped a sentiment and added a few Clear Round drops by Studio Katia.

Step 1. Select the whale and color it
Step 2. Cut out the image
Step 3. Stamp a cluster of fishes
Step 4. Pop up the image with foam tape
Step 5. Stamp a sentiment and add sequins. Smile!

That’s all for today. Hopefully you are inspired by my card!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
